Hunters in Belarus were stunned as the fox they were hunting shoots one of them.

Hunters in Belarus (near Poland) were stunned to see a fox they were hunting fight back and shoot one of the men in the leg.
As one of the hunters approached the wounded fox, it struggled and accidentally caught its paw in the rifle. The gun went off and shot the hunter. He remains in hospital recovering from the incident. The fox escaped with minor injuries.
The hunter has asked to remain unknown for the time being.

Well, this is indeed a strange scenario and a lesson to all of us that we will not hurt the animals again.
Guess the hunter now the taste of his own medicine huh? Sometimes nature has some weird way of showing how things are done. Both parties learned something valuable then.
That will be a good lesson to this hunter and all other hunters! Wounded foxes can be dangerous! He survived but I guess he thinks himself that he was a bit stupid to appear in such situation.

That's sad. I don't even know why men would be hunting in this day and age. A bunch of grown man with advanced weaponry cornering and killing a small, defenseless animal. How about go hunt something like a bear with nothing but your knife and some know-how.
This is an interesting story. Too bad for the hunter. It is a lesson learned for him. Maybe this time, he would think twice before hunting for a fox again.

I have always been afraid wild animals - no matter how big or small they are. They are wild - that's it. Poor man! I guess many rabies injections are not a pleasant thing at all.

That's a price to pay for the hunter. Hunting innocent animals is a sin, for me. It's a lesson for those who are abusing the animals.
