Strange Nature - Two Headed Rhino

Now this really is strange nature! Have you ever seen a Rhino with two heads? 

Yes folks this two headed Rhino is real and alive today. Once in a blue moon, nature will act in strange ways and create an animal far beyond what we know. This is the beauty of nature (in its own little way ;)

Strange Nature - 3 Animals that Eat Themselves

Strange Nature has found 3 animals that actually eat their own body! How strange?

The Sea Squirt
The Sea Squirt is known to digest it's own brain! It will do this strange act after attaching itself to a rock.

The Cricket
The short tailed cricket has been known to consume its own wings. It is unexplained why they do this.

Rat Snake
By far the strangest story of them all. One rat snake was found to be trying to eat itself from the tail up! It died on the second attempt. Another Rat Snake was found in the process of eating 2/3 of its body!

Strange Nature - Sheep Pig

-Strange [but beautiul] nature-

This unusual Sheep Pig is called a Mangalitzasis. Originally found in Hungary and Austria, the "sheep pigs" have woolly coats to protect them from the elements expected in these regions. The sheep pig could also be found in Great Britain 40 years ago, called the Lincolnshire Curley. Unfortunately they are a dying breed and extremely rare to see in modern times!

Strange Nature - Snakefish [HEADFISH] Deadliest fish

This is the Snakefish or "Headfish". 

It has been described as "something from a horror movie". If you find that disturbing then a quote from the US Interior Secretary will chill your bones;  

"Snakefish have a voracious appetite, often consuming all other fish in a lake or pond and even eating its young. It can slither across land, staying out of water for up to three days, to find new sources of food."

This makes little "Headfish" here a pretty deadly fish!

Tallest Cat + Smallest cat (in the World)

We have had the tallest dog and the fattest cat in the world - Now we will show you the World's tallest cat and the Smallest cat in the World!

 This is "Scarlett's Magic", a 17.1 inch tall F1 Savannah Cat and the current tallest cat in the World. The cat is measured from it's toes to shoulders. Scarlett's Magic lives with a loving family in Corona, California USA.

This little cat is named "Mr Peebles" and is currently the smallest cat in the World. He is an adult domestic cat and weighs just 3lbs [around 1.4kg] and is 6.1 inches high. Mr Peebles from Central Illinois, USA, has a genetic defect which has caused him to stay so tiny.

Bizarre Animals - Elephant Shrew

This bizarre looking animal has been dubbed "Giant Elephant Shrew". Found within the mountains of Tanzania, this weird animal has a 'trunk' just like an elephant would!


The strange animal is the equivalent to the size of a cat. It weighs just under a kilo and nearly 12 inches in length. It "flicks up" small insects with it's trunk to eat.

 Scientists have named it:  Rhynochocyon udzungwensis

Strange Nature - Cyclops Pig

 The new born bizarre cyclops pig. Twice as hungry!

On a sensetive note, this piglets mother was artificially inseminated, so it makes you wonder if that was the reason he ended up like this. Aparently local vets were 'baffled' as to how a genetic mutation caused the piglet to look how he does!

The pig is being cared by Farmer Yang Qiaofen of China.

Fattest Cat + Tallest Dog (in the World!)

Not to be mistaken for the largest dog in the world. 'Gibson' the Great Dane is the tallest, at a massive 7 foot!!

Gibson takes his owner for a walk twice a day and plays fetch with trees. This big boy looks like he could eat cats whole! Probably gets fed on blue whales or similar!!!

This was an interesting find. The cats seem to be getting very high from the catnip plants. Almost in a 'trance like' state. You never know...YOUR little kitty cat may be a stoner too!
