A wandering cat "Willow" is found by its owners after 5 years on the run
Meet "Willow" the pet cat who was lost by its owners 5 years ago in Colorado, USA. The lucky feline was found many miles away in Manhattan.
Ready to be reunited with its loving owners, the cat will soon fly back to its hometown. Willow is in good health and even a little on the "porky" side after obviously being fed by a number of people.
Willow was tracked thanks to a microchip installed while a kitten. The microchip stores the owners details which helps animals with being reunited with their owners. Lets hope Willow sticks around this time!

The cat reminds me of Hachiku :( I think this story should be made into a movie.
As not everyone bothers registering their animals, this story gives people a good reason to do so - assuming a microchip is part of the deal!
So many cats and dogs go missing in our city, its a shame that more people dont microchip their animals!
Wow, thats a crazy amount of time to be gone for. They might need to put a tracking device on that danm cat incase it goes missing again lol. But yea it's great that they had a microchip on their pet. I think it should be required by law to do so!
